Back in the day when I got married, there were no iPhones or Blackberries to take videos of our joyous celebration.....but we had a dear family friend who brought his cassette player to the reception and recorded the majority of the festivities. Thirty years later that cassette still plays and a co-worker actually took that cassette recording and transferred it to a CD for me.........Anyways the point of this story is that because of that recording, I was able to listen to the song that played for our first dance. It was George Jones and the song was "Walk Through this World With Me." With the aid of the internet, I printed the lyrics to the song on parchment paper, tore the edges and finished the page off with some wedding stickers. Since that day, I had lost my father and when I listened to the CD, I still get the opportunity to hear his voice! Caught me off guard the first time I heard it. (I will always miss him).
